A quick guide to writing a character analysis essay
When you start writing an analysis essay in college it is important to come up with a good idea. If that is the case and you don’t have one then relax, your search is over. You can think of the effects of soda effects on weight, maybe look at the effects that child soldiers have in warfare. You can analyze many things including some of the most effective leadership method in business.
In some cases you may have to look at some literature or something subjective instead of just a fact or an argument being made. In that case you should try to think about the piece you are looking at instead of focusing on finding an ideal topic to review within the text itself. This is because there are so many topics available that setting down on a specific one can become something of a large challenge. The beauty of this is that you can use the help of the Internet to find a good topic. Many of the main topics to write on will involve obesity, politics, or human intellectualism or religion. You could also write about specific situations.
The characters that you want to use for this piece are extremely important as well.
If you are struggling to draft a great paper you can of course use brainstorming tools to get the creative juices flowing. You can spend a few minutes free writing wherein you set a timer for two minutes or five minutes and write the entire time. This will get everything out of your conscious mind and onto the paper. The purpose of this is not to remove the pen from the paper for the duration of the process. This will remove any of the thoughts that are cluttering your mind and will pave way for better character analysis.
Another way to brainstorm is with the circle method where you draft one major idea in a circle on a sheet of paper. You then write all of your other thoughts on the paper and connect the arguments that go together. One of the advantages is that you can look down and see how all of your thoughts fit together on one page. The disadvantage is that you can only get so much on one sheet of paper and if you are writing a very lengthy essay you can’t fit everything on the page.

Structured Content and Logic Presentation
Each of essay sections should be well defined and written clearly. This means you should know what details to include while minimizing the amount needed. You may need to rewrite each section more than once before settling on your final copy. You should also remember to proofread, edit, and revise as these elements help make your structure more solid. Think about your details in how you want readers to view it from your perspective.
